If you hate nazi's why would you do that? Pervert.
PKBChaz Featured By Owner May 17, 2011  Hobbyist Traditional Artist
I find it funny that this very sign once mean't peace
I hate the nazi's and all those who suport them, and yet I am attracted to it how odd...
Still I'd rather see the hammer and Sickle then the swastika any day
Tyr-Opfer Featured By Owner Oct 22, 2015
....rather see the soviet symbol that killed more people than the nazi's? Aren't you considerate.
PKBChaz Featured By Owner Oct 23, 2015  Hobbyist Traditional Artist
I do apologize if my comments offended you my friend, yet if I may I'd like to maybe further explain my stance. My choice to welcome and fly the soviet colors is do to my ideal. I am aware of the reported millions exiled, imprisoned, and killed under the soviet state. This is something I can not deny and never would want to. Still I feel the hammer and sickle is more welcoming then swastika.

Fuck the Nazis - that's all I have to say.

Powerful. I only wish the flag wasn't so pleated.

Wow. Very powerful indeed. The Nazi's WERE powerful and amazing. No I don't support their cause but that doesn't mean they weren't strong.

All I could think when I saw this was, fuck I want to iron that flag.

The Swastika is backwards

20,946,000 men, women, handicapped, aged, sick, prisoners of war, forced laborers, camp inmates, critics, homosexuals, Jews, Slavs, Serbs, Germans, Czechs, Italians, Poles, French, Ukrainians and others might have had an opinion about the title and what the picture represents, if they were alive.

I think there were about 50,000,000 of them.

The flag Is of Hitler youth, and It's backwards.

Otherwise, quite a stunning piece of Propaganda there.

Powerful indeed. Beautifully done.

socialist fist with a swastika on the background? if this wasn't on purpose, then it's contradictorily stupid.
Tobias-Cray Featured By Owner Mar 6, 2010
I guess you think the red do not walk hand on the cross walk light is inappropriate and ignorant as well.

When someone gives you a thumbs up, do you get angry too? Man, I'd hate to have you teach sign language to young children. For one, no one would hear them scream as you tortured them for trying to ask to use the bathroom.

Whose the socialist dictator now?

Actually, I'm kidding. Just appreciate it as art, Castro.

What... the... fuck?
Aqualopetaq Featured By Owner Feb 21, 2010
Most likely nazi symbolic is used just for purpose of attention (to confront the political correctness). We all know what nazist ideology was, and how cruel it was (etc.). I think that fist means pure power or more precise urge for power. It all stems from poverty, unstable political situation and lack of respect for poeple (and nation). I like it.

Shouldn't this be in the political art section? I don't see how anything in this deals directly with military personals or equipment. Maybe a revolution or ideal though. It's a great photo all the same though! =)

I like this foto, it's strong and also shows the power and conflict of Germany in those years. But I think that's not completely Nazi, The real or official Nazi Symbol or Nazi flag is inverted, I mean it has the swastika inverted, so it seems to be a double S not a double Z...most of the people don't notice that...not even the so called neo nazis...

I like people like you who knows very well that history must not be forgotten and who cares not about what other people think when one is making his own art.

As I said, I like your art.

PS: In Germany it's a crime to reproduce or make a swastika but if your intentions are artistic then it can be allowed...but there will be always people who don't understand this...or who will see at you with very bad eyes...
sharky007 Featured By Owner Feb 13, 2010
the double z swatsika comes from an eastern country. There it's a religious symbol.

Very strong photo.

well i like the nazi thing so i wont judge you at all
Chuckelz-bear Featured By Owner Oct 24, 2009
Well seeing how You have the Swastika facing the Opposite Direction so it's in the more traditional stance and now the inverted German Nation Socialist.

So I SEE IT as a rise to power and Harmony

I could be wrong lol

the pic looks good but why is the swastika in the wrong direction?
Zeallandra Featured By Owner Sep 27, 2009
It was originally a buddhist symbol, I believe. Hitler stole it and turned it the wrong way.

In Hinduism, the right-hand (clockwise) swastika is a symbol of the sun and the god Vishnu, while the left-hand (counterclockwise) swastika represents Kali and magic. The Buddhist swastika is almost always clockwise, while the swastika adopted by the Nazis (many of whom had occult interests) is counterclockwise.

In Buddhism, the swastika signifies auspiciousness and good fortune as well as the Buddha's footprints and the Buddha's heart. The swastika is said to contain the whole mind of the Buddha and can often be found imprinted on the chest, feet or palms of Buddha images. It is also the first of the 65 auspicious symbols on the footprint of the Buddha.

Judge and you shall be judged, condemn and you shall be condemned, write something stupid and your stupidnes shall be aducated.

This is a really well taken picture. Artistically speaking, and solely on such a note.
Other wheres, I view it as a picture, I won't condone nor approve it, because its art, not a statement you are making politically. Though a risky move to make on such a site, where the slightest upset could have negative results. But seeing as this has been up for a while now, I'm glad to see it wasn't removed, or you banned for something, which shouldn't be punishable.

Though, on a note, I believe you have the banner flipped the wrong way, the symbol is backwards :)
